“We are pleased to add yet another way for local residents to have more access to the New York metropolitan area, as well as for visitors to get to the #1 city- Charleston,” said Elliott Summey, Charleston International Airport executive director and CEO, in the release. “JetBlue’s continued commitment to adding more convenient and affordable air service solidifies their commitment to our region.”

Westchester County Airport is located just outside of White Plains, New York, approximately 30 miles north of Manhattan.

"This new service further demonstrates the strength of our JetBlue relationship and the desirability of the Charleston area for discerning travelers from the White Plains/Westchester County region," said Helen Hill, CEO of Explore Charleston and chair of the Aviation Authority. "The New York metro area is a top market of origin for visitors to the Lowcountry. It is also a very popular destination for our local residents. We appreciate JetBlue's continued confidence in the Charleston area and believe their timing is excellent with this new daily route as we celebrate exactly 10 years of this partnership."

The flight will depart daily from Charleston at 3:15 p.m. and arrive in Westchester County at 5:30 p.m. It will depart Westchester County daily at 11:59 a.m. and arrive in Charleston at 2:14 p.m.

JetBlue is proud of our decade-long partnership with Charleston, made possible by the incredible support of the community, and we are excited to offer customers more travel options this summer,” said David Jehn, vice president, network planning and partnerships, JetBlue. “This latest addition reflects our commitment to deliver more low fares and award-winning service to more destinations for our Charleston customers.”
