Mason Prep School Teacher Named a Desmos Classroom Fellow

Ms. Meghan James, who teaches 7th and 8th grade math at Mason Prep, has been named a Desmos Classroom Fellow. The 2024 Fellowship Cohort is a group of 30 teachers who were chosen from over 250 applicants. To apply for the Cohort, Ms. James wrote extensively about her experience providing professional development to other teachers and her participation in professional development opportunities throughout her career, and submitted a video highlighting her using the Desmos curriculum presentation tools in her class to illustrate how she would teach other teachers to use them.

As a Fellow, she will be joining a group that works throughout the year to collaborate on projects, work on new curriculum features, and more.
