Community Event

Black History Exhibit

February 24,2024

10:30 am - 04:30 pm

265 Fishburne St., Charleston, SC 29403

The members of NAACP Charleston Branch and Talladega College Alumni Chapter in Charleston have partnered in an alliance to celebrate the excellence of Black history and the genius of African Americans throughout the diaspora by displaying many inventions designed by people of color.

It is with the assistance of the City of Charleston and B.R.I.G.H.T. (Blacks Righting Injustices and Gaining High Triumphs) Historical Organization that these forces have come together. We hope this is a first in a long developing relationship of providing a wealth of information to the community.

Networking with others is the ideal way to disseminate data. There is no better way to give back to the community than to demonstrate the awesome talent that dwells in the minds of our ancestors.

Come to the Arthur Christopher City Gym and Community Center from 10:30 AM until 4:30 PM on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at 265 Fishburne St, Charleston, SC 29403.
