Neighborhood Focus, a free faith-based afterschool and summer learning program for at-risk students grades 1-12 in Greenville, will host its first annual Par 3 for Hope golf tournament on Thurs., Mar. 21, from 2 to 5 p.m. at CrossWinds Golf Course. The event will raise money to benefit Neighborhood Focuss summer learning program.
The unique and fun Par 3 format will consist of two-person teams, with an entry fee of $250 per team. Hole sponsorships, which include a two-person team, are $500. The tournament will host a Hole-in-One contest worth $20,000. Anyone who makes a hole-in-one on the designated hole will receive a $10,000 cash prize, with the remaining $10,000 going to underwrite the cost of providing critical summer programming for up to 150 students.
In addition, there will be a putting competition, drawings for raffle prizes and other fun activities taking place throughout the afternoon.
