The Edisto Island Open Land Trust is holding the annual auction fundraiser entirely online and the items are available to see right now. That means anyone, anywhere is able to use their smart phone, tablet or computer to browse, bid and buy some fantastic items, all to support the conservation work and education outreach programs that help keep Edisto. . . The Party on Your Porch is going to include two days of online bidding for amazing auction items, combined with fun filled evenings of porch parties on Edisto, Charleston and beyond. Prizes will be awarded each night for photos posted of the “Best Lookin Porch Party. The auction will take place starting Friday morning, June 11th at 8AM and end Saturday, June 12th at 9PM A preview of all the auction items is available now.

The auction includes handmade local works of art, vacation homes on Edisto and the NC/SC mountains, dinner and cocktail parties, vacation trips to the Abacos and St. Thomas, hunting and fishing excursions, weekend stays in downtown Charleston, sporting packages and more. The Party on Your Porch will conclude on Saturday the 12th at 9PM with the raffle drawing live on Facebook! The event raises critical funds for land conservation efforts on and around Edisto and education outreach programs for children and adults.

This years title sponsor is Synovus Bank, with additional lead support from Green Finney, Jim Kempson of Carolina One, PURE Insurance, A-C Electric and McConkeys Jungle Shak.

The mission of The Edisto Island Open Land Trust is to preserve the rural quality of life on Edisto by protecting lands, waterways, scenic vistas, and heritage through conservation and education. Over 50% of Edisto Island has been protected through partnerships with local and national organizations and agencies. These wildlife preserves, the educational nature programs, and the local landowners who take care of their conserved lands are all part of what makes EdistoEdisto.
