The World Affairs Council Upstate is pleased to kick-off “America and the World”, an 8-part monthly lecture series, as part of our Distinguished Speaker Series programming.
With all of the uncertainty, speculation and change in the world today, it is more important than ever to hear from global experts. Each month will focus on a different area of the world.
Our first “America and the World” presentation will feature Dr. Akan Malici. Dr. Malici has published numerous books and articles about foreign relations, policy, and conflicts. His most recent publication is Role Theory and Role Conflict in U.S.-Iran Relations: Enemies of Our Own Making.
The first lecture is entitled: “Challenges for American Foreign Policy”
Networking will begin at 8:30 with coffee and muffins provided. The lecture will begin promptly at 9:00am.
