Dr. Ari Zelig comes to Charleston from his hometown of Memphis, Tennessee. He looks forward to establishing long-term relationships with patients in the Lowcountry and improving their quality of life. He is board-certified in allergy and immunology as well as general pediatrics and treats patients of all ages with allergic and immunologic disorders.

Dr. Zelig began his studies at Emory University, where he received his undergraduate degree and started an early career in special education. He studied medicine at the Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University. Dr. Zelig completed his pediatric residency at Mt. Sinai Hospital and Fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at Montefiore Medical Center in New York. He is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (AAAAI) and the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (ACAAI). He is often a speaker for the National Eczema Association and has presented nationally about advanced biological treatments for asthma and chronic hives.

Outside of medicine, you might find Dr. Zelig strumming his guitar and singing an original song around the Lowcountry. He is a singer/songwriter and enjoys playing for a crowd when not spending time with his wife and three dogs.

Unique to Charleston ENT & Allergy, the allergists work alongside our team of Otolaryngologists and Audiologists to give patients a comprehensive approach to diagnosing and treating any ear, nose, or throat issues. Dr. Zelig is a great addition to the team and will see patients in our West Ashley, James Island, and Mt. Pleasant locations. To make an appointment with Dr. Zelig, call or text (843) 766-7103.

Charleston ENT & Allergy has provided high-quality care for residents of the Lowcountry since its founding in 1997. As South Carolina’s largest private otolaryngology practice, our board-certified physicians diagnose and treat patients of all ages with ear, nose, throat, head, and neck conditions. Our approach to superior, comprehensive, and convenient care has allowed the practice to expand from a single office to 14 locations. Specialists in allergy/immunology, audiology, and imaging work together, eliminating the need for multiple appointments. A state-of-the-art surgery center is nationally accredited and has pediatric anesthesiologists as well as a child life specialist on staff to ensure our littlest patients and parents are stress-free while undergoing surgery. An in-house pharmacy allows for quick medication pick-up and gives patients more time to feel better.
