Breeze Airways adds flight from Charleston to New York destination

Breeze Airways has launched service from Charleston to Stewart-Newburgh, N.Y.

The flights will take off and land on Mondays and Fridays.

“We are pleased to be able to offer lowcountry travelers direct service to Newburgh, New York,” said Elliott Summey, executive director and CEO of Charleston International Airport, in a news release.  “Providing access to Downstate New York’s Hudson Valley region is a game changer and yet another example of Breeze’s continued commitment to providing service to some of the most underserved markets.”

Recognized by Travel + Leisure readers as one of the Top 5 Best U.S. Airlines for the second consecutive year, Breeze offers Guests both bundled and a la carte options known as Nice, Nicer and, on flights operated with the Airbus A220-300, Nicest.

“Today we add Stewart-Newburgh as our 24th destination served from Charleston,” said Breeze CEO and Founder David Neeleman in the release. “Charleston was served literally from Breeze’s first day of operations and remains our biggest base. Now Charleston area residents can have fast, affordable and convenient service to three airports in the greater New York City area.”
