‘American Jukebox’ trilogy pulls out all the stops with music from the ‘60s, ‘70s and ‘80s

Brad and Jennifer Moranz may have saved the best for last as they wrap up their popular summertime show “American Jukebox.” This third and final show in the series highlights all-new hits and musical renditions from the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s.

Some of the country’s most talented performers will take the stage at the Charleston Music Hall to sing and dance their way through three decades of musical favorites. Audiences can’t help but sing along to hits from Billy Joel, Stevie Wonder, Bruce Springsteen, The Supremes, Whitney Houston, and many more.

Produced by Moranz Entertainment, “American Jukebox 3” runs for four shows only from June 28 to June 30. The husband-and-wife team behind the show have been working for months to put together a blend of musical entertainment rivaling a Broadway production.

“I think we say this every time, but this really might be our best show yet,” Brad Moranz said. “The performers are incredible, and the music is timeless.”

He added, “Audiences have been blown away by the talent and music selections in the previous ‘American Jukebox’ productions, and I know they will love this year’s show just as much. It is not to be missed!”

Bringing the hits to life are singers Sabrina de Boer, Jenna Flaherty, Crystal Garrett, Michael Minor, Tiffany Parker and Matt Shingledecker.

Highlights include Shingledecker performing Frankie Valli’s “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” and the Righteous Brothers classic “You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feeling” with Michael Minor. Parker will sing the Go Go’s “We Got the Beat” as well as the Eagles “Heartache Tonight” as a duet with de Boer.

Garrett will sing Steve Wonder’s “I Wish” plus audience favorites “Disco Inferno” and “I Will Always Love You.”

Minor will showcase his ventriloquist skills with the Cowsills “Hair.” And he’ll team up with de Boer to sing “Islands in the Stream” made famous by Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers. Flaherty is performing Heart’s 1980s hit “Alone” along with Cher’s “If I Could Turn Back Time.”

And world-class violinist James Anderson will dazzle audiences with his rousing versions of Emerson, Lake and Palmer’s “Hoedown,” and Charlie Daniels’ “Orange Blossom Special.”
