A luxury community in Daniel Island has opened sales for its third phase.

East West Partners, a national residential and commercial real estate development group with offices in Charleston, has launched sales for its third collection of residences at luxury mixed-use community, The Waterfront Daniel Island.

The development includes 30 condominium residences, 11 townhomes and six marsh-front cottages, according to a news release. The cottages, offered in limited supply, mark a new product type for the community amid a last-of-its-kind purchase opportunity for views in the heart of the village.

Pricing will begin in the $900,000s.

“Designed to blend seamlessly into the natural landscape, this collection reflects the beautiful coastal atmosphere of Charleston and will feature a smaller carbon footprint than any portion of The Waterfront to date,” says Harriette Calder, project manager for The Waterfront Daniel Island. “Answering the overwhelming demand for inventory following the sellout of Phases I and II, this latest collection represents a last-of-its-kind offering positioned in the heart of the thriving Waterfront community.”

Spread across two buildings, the collection of 30 one-, two- and three-bedroom condominiums have been designed to include modern coastal living spaces, covered parking, same-level interior storage and a landscaped shared courtyard, according to the release. Featuring marsh and village park views, the Plover building offers four floorplans with dedicated workspaces, covered or wraparound terraces, and pantries, while the Whimbrel building provides six floorplans including oversized or wraparound terraces, dens in select plans, pantries, and hall studies.

Set among the Waterfront village, the 11 Sanderling townhomes offer multiple levels of indoor and outdoor living space, ground-floor bedroom suites, and a two-car garage in each unit, the release stated. Highlights in selected townhomes with five floorplans include front-to-back rooftop terraces, ensuite balconies, his-and-hers dressing closets, and wraparound kitchens.

Designed to maximize privacy, the coastal three- and four-bedroom Marsh Cottages offer an exclusive opportunity to live in attached single-family homes along The Waterfront marsh. Three floorplans offer living spaces that prioritize marsh views along with a private two-car garage, private entries and a shared front-entry courtyard.

The third collection has been designed to meet the ASHRAE Net Zero-Ready design criteria, according to the release. Net-Zero-Ready buildings are designed and constructed more efficiently so that with the addition of renewable energy systems, the building would produce as much energy as it consumes. To meet Net-Zero criteria, additional insulation has been added to the collection’s exterior building envelope, and upgraded HVAC systems and heat pump water heaters were selected to increase energy efficiency.

The interior design vision for the third collection is being led by Betsy Berry of B. Berry Interiors, the Charleston-based firm also behind the community’s second collection. In addition, two architectural firms, including Charleston-based MacMillan Pazdan Smith and Bluffton-based Court Atkins Group, will bring the Phase III residences to life, the release stated.
