On the Menu provides the latest news from the Charleston area’s culinary community, including new restaurants, new menu items and upcoming events, as well as details about local chefs. Submissions should be sent to dailyjournal@scbiznews.com.

Fill Restaurant & Piano Bar is scheduled to host a tribute to The Beatles on June 17. There will be two dueling-piano shows, at 6 and 9 p.m.

Tickets are $30 including two cocktails, or $50 with a three-course dinner.


Crave Kitchen & Cocktails will host a Father’s Day brunch from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 17 and 18. Dinner service will begin at 5 p.m. those days. Reservations are recommended.


The S.C. Aquarium is scheduled to host After Hours: Tacos with Salsa from 5 to 10 p.m. June 15. There will be tacos from Dashi, popsicles from King of Pops and salsa lessons from Holy City Salsa Dance Studio.

Tickets are free for members, $15 for nonmembers.


Several local breweries have organized a Float into Summer Beer Cruise from 6 to 9 p.m. June 17. The tour of Charleston Harbor will include beverages from Frothy Beard Brewing Co., Holy City Brewing, Tradesman Brewing Co. and Low Tide Brewing, and live music from Dylan Swinson.

Tickets are $50, and attendees must be 21.
