What is the best career advice you’ve ever been given: It’s not just what you do from 9 a.m-5 p.m. that makes you successful; it is also what you do from 5 p.m.-9 p.m. You should always be learning, reading, volunteering and networking.
Books on your nightstand: Team of Rivals, the Snowball, the Warren Buffett biography and Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, my son’s favorite book.
Favorite restaurant: Charleston Cafe for breakfast; Chick-fil-A for fast food; Daniel Island Grill for a drink and sports TV; and EVO Pizza in North Charleston or Kelly’s BBQ in Summerville for dinner.
