• Recently published a sales and marketing book for mental health professionals. Also founded the Mental Health Resource Connection, a Web site and blog focusing on sales and marketing innovations in the health care industry.

Community involvement

• Board member, Life Management Center, a nonprofit organization in Charleston, Summerville and Walterboro offering psychoeducational assessments, tutoring and community support services for children and adults.
• Multidisciplinary committee member, Dorchester Children’s Center, an organization dedicated to offering assessments and counseling for children who are victims of physical and sexual abuse. 
• Committee member, Collaborative Organization Servicing Youth in Beaufort, offering mental health services and support for children and their families.

Best stress reliever: Walking the streets of Charleston with my wife and kids. I just love this city!

Favorite hour of the day and why: Sunset during the week, when I take my 5½-year-old son out to the beach to ride the waves after work.
