Jupiter Holdings oversees a group of family-owned business assets and companies. Buck Lumber is a local, family-owned building supply company that has provided building products to its clients for more than 30 years. Buck Management operates 15 Stockade Storage facilities in South Carolina, Georgia and Florida. It also operates 12 Bluewater convenience stores, seven Super Suds carwashes, three Sonic drive-in restaurants and two Bojangles’ Express restaurants in Charleston. Cantey Technology provides computer and technical support to companies.

Professional goal: To be able to balance work and family as successfully as my mother, who is an attorney, raised two children and has been married to my father for 37 years.

Books on your nightstand: Lots of magazines. Being eight months pregnant (at press time) all it takes is a few page turns and I am sound asleep.

Best stress reliever: Exercising or boating with my husband, Willis Cantey.

Favorite vacation spot: The Abacos, a string of islands in the Bahamas.

Favorite hour of the day and why: Late afternoons/early evenings during the summer because it means more time to enjoy the outdoors.
